Listing sites or your own booking link? Use both, on purpose

You do not have to choose between a booking marketplace and your own link. They do different jobs.
What a marketplace is good for
It brings guests who have never heard of you, with search, reviews and a payment system they trust. That reach usually costs a commission on each booking. Read the terms before you sign, especially about cancellations, refunds and talking to customers directly.
What your own link is good for
Your own charter page has no commission. You set the price and the rules, you speak to the guest directly, and you keep their details for the next season. It is also where your best customers will come back to: the ones who already know you.
A simple plan
- List on a marketplace to be found.
- Give every guest a card or message with your own link before they leave.
- Put your link and a QR code on the boat, at the guesthouse and on your social pages.
- Answer repeat guests with your own link, not the marketplace.
Do the sums
Take your average trip price and multiply by your commission rate. Multiply by the trips you do through the platform in a year. That is the cost of being found. If the number is small compared to the new customers you get, it is worth paying. If it is large, move repeat guests to your own link.
Keep your promises the same
Make sure your price, what is included and your cancellation rules match everywhere, so guests do not see a surprise.
Triplyne is not a marketplace: it does not find guests for you. It gives you the page, the packages, the payments and the records once they arrive.
